well I have now heard from Derek's late wife's [Pamela] nephew Paul Scholey and whilst he's been unable to find Derek he has given me a contact address for Pamela's brother, so I shall write to him and see where that gets me!! |

Have sent messge re Pamela and also found three trees with Derek in them so messages gone there too - quite excited now!!! will keep everyone posted if I get a positive result |

Worked out that Pamela's maiden name was Scholey and she was born 1936. She is in a tree on this site. |

Hi there - I'm pretty sure it's not the right one as that Derek is far too old and he definitely said he was moving within Yorkshire because of his connection to the sailing fraternity there |
