Welcome to the boards Mcloughlin

I doubt whether anyone could help with out any ages or where in the world this person would likely to be

If you know her age have you tried the search trees?

Could you give some indication of area, age, and your connection to her?
Thank-you

No Bridget Mcloughlins born Warwickshire or surrounding counties anywhere near this year. What makes you think she was born there?
It would help to find her birth as a middle initial would really come in handy!

There is a marriage of Bridget B. McLoughlin to an O'Neil in Birmingham 1974, so I guess this is where your info comes from?

I see you have deleted your previous comment saying she may be your adopted mom or did you mean birth mother?

jax

jax Report 28 Feb 2012 17:24

Have you sent a message to the other person who had bridget mcloughlin 1945 in a tree who is possibly the person who married in 1974?

mcloughlin Report 29 Feb 2012 12:08

she is my birth mother, i was born in 1963 and im now 48 so if she was 17 or 18 she would be born in 1945, her middle name is bernadette and the only marriage i could find was to peter oneil in 1974, i was born in birmingham where she used to live then i think she moved to wawrick but not certain x

You might find it useful to get that marriage cert to confirm the middle name. If it looks like it is her, it would also give you and address and her father's name, plus her age, all information which would help in your search.
Is there an address on your birth cert? If so you could check out the electoral register to see who else was living there.

Did you check out the address you have on the electoral register? It's only a slim chance it might help but you never know.
And you really need that marriage cert either to confirm or exclude that person as being your mother.

brummiejan Report 1 Mar 2012 17:22

Well, I guess it might not, to be honest - you do have a point!! However, there might be a clue or two - where she is living being the obvious one.
I assume you were adopted from what you say. Have you seen every bit of info on your adoption file, and do you have your birth certificate?
None of this might help, but you need every bit of information you can get.

Meant to say - if you are not local to Birmingham and want the address checking out let me know - via PM.
