Hi, it is ELIZABETH M CLIMO we are searching for, we have been led to believe the d.o.b was 1952, but it is always possible that this is wrong.
(edit...'52 was wrong, it apears to 1955 registerd in 1956)

Just to clarify: Beryl Arfield was adopted and took the name of Climo, at the time Beryl gave birth to Elizabeth, Beryl's surname was Climo.

must be the 1956 one then. registered first qtr so born xmas eve 1955 is quite possible

Unless this person was adopted, the birth date etc should NOT be on this board

The 1952 birth info is an invasion of the lady's privacy.

Elizabeth Mary Climo WAS adopted, as far as I know any information posted here regarding birthdates is from publicly available index records . The "1952 birth info" applies to Elizabeth Mary Climo who as previously stated more than once WAS adopted. I hope this clarifies things for you Reggie !!!!!!!

(Edit - birth date apears to be 1955 after more information has become available)

Perhaps, as this site is totally public, Stephen, it could be tactful to remove the exact date of birth and change it to just the year? Just a gentle, polite suggestion.

Well....it seems even although Elizabeth was adopted posting the birhdate continues to cause concern, so to allay any fears I have edited this to just leave the birth year ! I hope that will keep everyone happy !

Crazy! She was given for adoption, could be called Anasatia Philomena Diddlewiddle -twiddlewiddle now, and that is if she hasn't married.

What difference did the birthdate make? Seriuosly, can someone explain?

So the one born in 1952 is nothing to do with you? plus it was no where near christmas time anyway so really the date of birth that was mentioned meant nothing as the year is obviously wrong

Jax....the 1952 birth date was my wifes half sisters believed date of birth, however there are no living relatives who could confirm this, but it now seems that the birth date could have been 1955(registerd 1956). This was a birth to an unmarried mother who was secreted in an establishment in Cornwall called Rosemundy House, these things were not talked about and remained hidden for many years, so as you will understand details are sparse !!!

Yes I know that was the date of birth you thought was hers.....but it obviously was not. The only part that was possibly correct was the day and month.

You have stated to Reggie the 1952 birth info that was posted by Kellie relates to someone who was adopted.....No it was'nt, that is why Reggie asked her to remove it

Jax .... if the 1952 date was wong for the name given then the name and date dont exist as as one entity....there will be no such person....so I cant see the problem !

I dont know why you are having a go at me Stephen, I was only agreeing the birth details for 1952 posted by Kellie should be removed, but someone rr'd it anyway.

I was also agreeing as the birthdate and year did not match it did'nt really matter...maybe it did not come accross that way??

Quick update..we now have a birth certificate confirming the date of birth which was indeed 1955...the search continues :)
