After getting the marriage cert and it is not my Annie! Disappointed indeed. Looking through passenger lists and was interested in Mrs E Allison, June and Sylvia Allison. I wonder if this could be Annie. Thinking Mrs E Allison could be Elizabeth Annie Allison. I cannot get any information to rule her out. June was born approx 1926 and Sylvia 1928. She would have been born in India as she was 3 months when they came back to England, October 1928. R J Allison, wife and 2 infants went out to India earlier that year January 1928 :-S

I agree, it's the only thing to do to be sure.
Good luck!

Thank you BRUMMIEJEAN for that information.
I just decided to get the marriage cert for Percival Watson and see what information I find there. Hopefully it will be my Annie! ;-)

I would try finding the 'other' Annie on birth records or a census, to see if you can exclude her, then if not look for a death.

This is probably Percival:

Births Sep 1894 (>99%)
Watson Percival George Mutford 4a 953

Deaths Dec 1964 (>99%)
WATSON PERCIVAL G 70 LOTHINGLAND 4B 915

Only possible I can see at the moment with this name:

Name: Annie Elizabeth Watson
Birth Date: 29 Jun 1904
Date of Registration: Jun 1970
Age at Death: 66
Registration district: Epping
Inferred County: Essex
Volume: 4a

I have found a marriage for an Annie Elizabeth Spence to an Percival G Watson in Mutford 1921
How can I get information for this? I don't want to buy the cert if it is not Annie! :-D

Annie may have Elizabeth in her name too, could be Elizabeth Annie or Annie Elizabeth. :-S

I was talking to a family member today and they thought that Annie's husband was in the Indian Army and lived in Bristol area. Also, their son lived there all his life. Can anyone tell me how to find Indian army records, please.
Regards
Aspen :-D

Pam
Thank you for the interesting information. That little girl is still alive but I won't mention this to her. She is a lovely lady and I hope to be able to meet with her this year.
Kind regards
Aspen ;-)

I was able to find him with the information given here. I now am able to talk to them on the phone and hopefully we will be able to meet later in the year. Annie is the only one now and she is proving very difficult to say the least!

Hi

You said in your opening post 'Robert, known as Bobby and to date, I can't find anything for him'

Leading me to think you knew nothing about him?
