Having checked on Ancestry, the only two instances of de Quinemont are a man who married and died in France, and another about whom there is info in Quebec ( the predominantly French province of Canada)

Use GR's facility for locating contacts on the site. Click on the 'search' button, and select 'search all trees' from the dropdown

What were the names (and ages) of the daughters who travelled with them?

I would have thought that the wife was more likely to have been of French origin

Thomas Burr c1814 - 1866 born Wokingham, England, died Melbourne, Australia
Surveyor, explorer, mine manager.
Married Frances Ann De Quinemont arrived South Australia Dec 1839 aboard Cleveland, to post of Deputy Surveyor General, with 2 daughters.
Three or four more children were born. In c1856 only 2 had survived, one Jane Anne nee Burr Sinnett and sister Isabel.
I am interested to trace descendants of Isabel Florence(?) Burr or Jane Anne Sinnett seeking contacts?
I am also trying to trace the origins of Frances Ann De Quinemont, possibly born in London,c 1810-18.
