Hi Vanessa

I don't think so. In 1950s his mother, Edith Mabel, and his father, Frederick James, came to UK and they brought photos of the family including Stanley who would have been in his late teens. I think he attended his father's funeral in July 1981. An obit appeared in the Sydney Morning Post on 17th July 1981 but I cannot get access to it.

Do you have access to electoral rolls for Adelaide say in 1947 and Sydney in 1981?

I know definitely he attended his Uncle Ernest Beck's funeral in November 1947
as I have seen a copy of the death notice and he is mentioned.

Thanks for being do patient.

Hi Anne
The 'South Aus State Library' (on-line) has an 'Ask Us' librarian service ...they will check electoral rolls (past & present) and newspaper death notices.

Perhaps you should include 'Adelaide' in your title, as lots of people have read your post, but no help so far?

Due to the excellent help I have received from fellow members of GR I am wondering if anyone can help me with information regarding my second cousin Stanley Beck born in Adelaide in c1931. His parents were Frederick J Beck and Edith Mabel Beck nee Cartwright. I have managed to find details of his brothers and sisters who, sadly, have all passed away, but he has proved more difficult. If anyone can help I will be extremely grateful.
