Hello everyone,
Im hopiny you will be able to help me find my mam.
Yvonne Mary Whiteside 1942,Cheshire area,
Her father was John Michael Whiteside and he was a caravan salesman back in 64.
My father is Cyril Smith.
I have no idea if she has siblings,
I have no idea what her mother was called.

There is NO birth on freebmd for Yvonne M Whiteside in any year

The info in the OP's post above is now shown to be inaccurate...............

The thread to which Rose refers has been deleted.........................along with whatever info had been appended

For ref for helpers, I've been helping Karen off the board

Briefly there is a possible death, following a second marriage, which is being looked into. The only Yvonne NOT eliminated is one entering the UK during the war, birth around 1941... which seems unlikely as the marriage to Cyril makes 1944 likely birth year.

Karen, wait until you have confirned whether that is the right death? otherwise helpers will only duplicate what I have found so far :-)...

Desperate...looking for my mam,if anyone can help i woild be most graetful. On my last notice i put down that she was born around 1944,however i now think it was 1942. I have PMd Karen Reggie, will ask her to add any further details on here and will ( if it's not the death already found)) add what I have eliminated thus far.

I have already checked for births to a John M Whiteside ( as per cert) marriage on Freebmd and found no trace of an Yvonne born to the only possible marriage in UK.

Just for ref in case someone else is looking , this one that I considered, has been ruled out, as I have found another incoming passenger list, which puts her with her siblings and father ( John Patrick Whiteside) returning to Hoole,Chester.

Karen has no firm idea about where her mother was born..............the info in her 'researching' box is guesswork

Have you checked out the remarriage in 1982? She married under the names of Whiteside and Smith in Congleton /Crewe

If this marriage is correct, her husband was still in Crewe on 2012 ER

Added: the person in the phone directory with the same initials was NOT her husband - wrong post code.
