Perhaps the mother had been married before..............it was during WW2!

Or the marriage took place somewhere other than England/Wales.

BUT.............if Tina is getting the marriage cert, the sensible course of action is to wait until she tells us what it says.

I believe Trevor's mother's surname is misspelled in the index.

I have found parents and sisters who fit the description and have sent Tina the current contact information for one of the sisters privately.

(I am purposely not putting more specifics here since the family is not aware of this discussion, but if you replace the vowel in the mother's surname for the most likely birth for Tina's dad with a wildcard you will find those results.)

When that surname is corrected, Tina you may be amused by the combination of names your grandparents bequeathed to you :-)

Give the poor girl a bit of time! She might be up to her ears in Christmas shopping, or on vacation, or busy at work, or have a sick kid, you never know. Or just be waiting til the weekend to reply if she's busy at work. She might not be the right person, or if she is, she might never want to hear about her brother again, we can't know, but from what you worked out from what I found, I would expect she would answer.

If it's Pam's work email addy you are contacting be careful what you say. It's possible a secretary could be reading them first.

Hey guys an update.... my mother gave little info thankfully.

Father was arrested in 1968 to 1969 by the police then sectioned to Goodmayes hospital for mental health issues.

Last sighting was in 1993 working in Sainsburys in Dagenham Essex.

One of his sister's lived in Devon, Cornwall. Known at the time to have two sisters and then their mother remarried.

This is all I have but better than before hey.

I am still waiting for the marriage cert to arrive.

If anyone can help me please please do. I am so desperate to find my lost family since my ill health.

hi Tina, that all fits the info I sent you I think, including the mother's remarriage.

I am just dashing in and out while caught up in something else that needs doing, I will try to check back in late this evening and look back over what I had found.

I do think that sending a letter (with a Christmas card!) to the sister just in case the email went astray or whatever would be an idea.

I am sure you mentioned that even if she is not in touch with your dad you would be so happy to know your aunts and cousins :-)

I would love to know all my family with caution towards my father.

But if you get any more info please tell.

Hatch/Hutch will be her maiden name.

No not yet but feel she is no longer here as only one to match would make her over 100 years old.
