If you are related, one assumes you know who Kathleen's parents were

What were their names?

All is about to be revealed as I have had a response to one of my tree searches at last. Thanks for everyone's help. Pamela is still alive and a family member is getting her permission to give her contact details to me.

Oh No. Back to the drawing board - or scrap the whole idea - not decided.
The relatives have turned out to not be relatives. They don't see that the twenty+ yrs old Kathleen bears any resemblance to their Mum - Gran etc.

Sometimes I wonder why I do this! :-S

Have you used freebmd to look for info?

Have you taken on board ALL of the info posted on here?

One of the reasons for my asking if you'd looked at freebmd

Births Jun 1953 (>99%)
STOCKWELL Colin T MILNOR Carlisle 1a 106

Deaths Mar 1961 (>99%)
STOCKWELL Colin T 7 Carlisle 1a 48

Hello Reggie. Yes to all your questions. However the Colin Stockwell slipped my notice. The point is I have emailed photos of my Kathleen Fox to family of Pamela nee Milnor and to a nephew of Reginald Burbidge (Kathleen's 2nd husband) and they all say it bears no resemblance to their relative. So it would seem that the starting point was the wrong Kathleen Fox. If I decide to carry on I shall be back to square one. Thanks for your interest. regards Jennifer

It seems the jury is still out on this one. The daughter of Kathleen knows of a photo of herself as a toddler with parents and this may surface soon.

It might help if you told us how you got back to 'your' Kathleen Fox.......but only the FACTS

Why did you say you 'knew' she had a daughter Pamela?

Who is the 'daughter' who 'knows' about a photo?

Thanks everyone. I am now in touch with Kathleen's daughter Pamela and delighted to find out that Kathleen lived to almost one hundred years old. She has many descendants through Pamela and one of them told me that Kathleen had spoken of my mother and their good times when both were young. Amazing - when I was on the point of giving up many times.
Thanks again to all for your input.
