ArgyllGran Report 20 Feb 2018 17:29

I've tried to follow her marriage history without success.

The lady with the correct first name and middle initial on the Southampton ER, along with Chase son and daughter, seems to have married the husband Martin in 2004 under surname Battams.

The lady with the correct first name and initial, and Martin's surname, is on a Bedford ER for 2006-10 .
Also at that address (at some time, not sure when) are (apparently) the Chase daughter now surnamed Battams - unless she's a different person with the same first name and middle initial,
and two young men with surname Battams.
also a woman with first name same as the 1962 lady - different middle initial but that could be a mistake - and surname Weller.

The birth record (1994) for one of the Battams boys give his mms as Weller.
Can't find the birth of the other one at present - not with mms Weller, anyway.

There's a Bedfordshire marriage in 1991 for a Battams to a lady with the correct first name and middle initial, but surname Streames.

Also an 1987 marriage of the same man to a Jennifer Carr.

Taking the Streames name, there's a 1987 Bedfordshire marriage of a Steames (no r) to a female Weller with the right first names.

So Ms Weller can't be Miss Petyt

His birth record shows his mms as Weller.

So either the other people in Southampton at the same address as the Chase son and daughter are no relation, but just happened to have lived at that address at some time, and the mother just happens to have the same first names as the Chase children's mother - or I'm totally confused.

Argyll Gran am working on the principle that the child born 1962 married twice, the one I have sent to Alana remarried Tookey, and has Chase and Petyt names in her friends list?

maybe i have lost the plot though, I have a cat sitting on the keyboard lol

Yes, same one as I was investigating - but I don't "do" Facebook.

Martin Tookey married a Battams, and from there the trail seems to lead back to a Miss Weller.

I can't link the name to Chase or Petyt, even though the forenames seem to match.

The marriage would be after the marriage reg cut off ArgyllGran, ( not the Battams one) I have worked through it again, and pretty certain as the daughter who is in friends list has right birthyear( someone wished her happy birthday which was useful
lol)

Hi all

Just to let my helpers know that the Debbie Tookey was the lady we thought she was. I have had a very interesting day following up emails and a telephone conversation that has opened a few more doors.

Thank you again for your help. This tree research is addictive
