Rose posted the link at 22.41 yesterday

BTW ‘Pearl’ is a very old-fashioned name

Also, have you checked Scottish BMD’s?

Alan's marriage 1979 , and the births of Jennifer Holly and Andrew James, all in Staffordshire.

You can find the records on FreeBMD, using Jennifer's birth as a starting point.
I don't see an earlier marriage to a Susan, in England/Wales/Scotland.

Jennifer's on the 2020 ER in Staffordshire.

ErikaH mentioned Scottish BMDs.
I checked them yesterday.
There are a number of marriages of men named Andrew Murdoch in possible years, but none to an Amanda or Mandy.
No death of an Andrew Murdoch with no middle name, born 1964.
No birth of a Pearl Murdoch in a reasonable year.

There are births of two Penny Murdochs (2013 and 2018) - but Alan's supposed daughters Pearl and Penny are thought to be in their 40s.
No Penelope Murdoch born in a possible year.

Thank you to both of you. I haven't checked the Scottish BMD. Initially when I offered help it was mainly to try to find an address that Leigh could write to to make contact I had no idea she had found some information regarding her brothers or that they had spent some time in Scotland, Once again as I said a big thank you , some of the information you have given me I had also found - or on some things couldn't find - and some of it is new, I will pass on everything you have told me and then I think I will leave it at that and hope she has enough details one way or another to make actual contact and meet her long lost brothers. I wish her well but I don't think we would be able to find anything more that would help her. I did find her family tree on her mothers side so she has that to add to her findings and to maybe add to if and when she has time.
I'll close this post now with thanks - until next time I need your help x
