Find Living Relatives

I’m wondering if anyone can help me please.
My late father married a Lilian Birch in 1942 in Surrey.
Mr fathers name was Peter Dennis Jeffery
They had 2 sons Michael born in 1943 Barry born in 1945
The boys were sent to Australia as part of the child migration programme in 1954
I know they were pushed around various orphanages and were eventually reunited with their mother.
There is possibly another brother Anthony who was born in 1952
I have found some of my relatives in Australia but not my brothers
My father married my mother, they never told my sister and myself about the other children .
I had my suspicions as I found a piece of paper with the names Michael, Barry and Anthony.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Barry was born in 1944. (You can see his birth registration on FreeBMD)

I don't see a Jeffery/Birch birth in 1952.

There's a Steven M in 1951, and a Paul E in 1953, both in Doncaster.

Three children named Anthony Jeffery were born in 1952 - but none with mmn Birch.

There is no Anthony travelling with Barry and Michael in 1954.

Where was the ‘reunion’ with the mother?

Maybe a possibility (please note - could well be a different person) in 1977 - do you know Barry's middle name?

This man is with a Winifred Ursula Jeffery, presumably his wife.

Barrys Keiths child migration lists brother Anthony in 1954 as then aged 2,plus also brother Michael Paul.

The National Archives of Australia have research guides for the migration children.

I didn’t realise that little Anthony travelled with them , I’d heard he was adopted in Australia?

I have Barry and Michael’s birth records and I believe when Anthony was born Lilian just registered the name Jeffery and not Birch
A relative of Lilian posted on here looking for Anthony, sadly everything goes blank in Australia

If anyone was adopted you won’t be able to pick up a lead on them. Worth googling to see if the Aus gov. Has a register you can add your name to.

The info posted by ArgyllGran was that NO Anthony travelled with them

Anthony didnt travel with them,,,I put Anthony was mentioned on the records as a Brother,,,he was a half brother to the boys and stayed with his mother in UK.

Anthony was adopted , I found records for him being born in Eastbourne in 1952

Another family member has been looking for him, but it’s difficult as he was adopted

It’s possible that’s Barry as there is a Barry Jr with the middle name Noelle

Anthonys adoption was of course after 1954 as the records show he was with mother in the UK at that time..,,,

Put Anthonys birth in your tree if its on this site,,,,,,as his name will have probally changed it will be reconised should anyone look,,maybe also add his mothers name,,as its very likely shes passed away.,

I’ve found details of her granddaughter but need to be sensitive and very careful

as his birth name no longer exsists for that person,,it breaks no rules of data,,,,,its only relevant to anyone that should be searching for birth family,

but his details have been exposed now,,,
