I have some WWII medals that I would love to return to the rightful owner or
his descendants.

The name on the box is ( F or possibly J? ) Pinnock, 27 Lansdown Road, London E11

I have posted this up in the past and contacted some Pinnocks in the area but never managed to find any connections.

No 44, a few doors down but this looks likely, just need to find him or family.

From a Google search, Lansdowne Road, Hackney, is E8.

Lansdowne Road E11 is Leytonstone.

If they are British or Victory Medals the name should be stamped round the rim , to find out if it is F or J

1939-45 star and The War Medal 1939–1945 .
No engraving, just standard issue medals.
No monetary value as such but I'd just love to return them to the family.
