Mhairi, Thanks very much for doing the look ups for me . Only one snag now, The name Finlay ,it apears in the middle of 2 of the Hill names . . Where the heck does the name come from ? Oh well at least you have given me another line to explore . Cath

Happy New Year to you. If you do go in January perhaps you can help me with this one. Looking for the marriage of Isabella Hood. Think she may have been married twice to 2 different McKerrow one George and one William. Isabella HOOD b1744 d 1789. What I really need is the parents of her husbands. William McKerrow b1733 d 1807 If you can confirm their marriage and the McKerrow parents I may be able to connect another branch to my tree. Dont know George's date of birth. Thanks GLoria

Hey Gloria Someone may correct me if i'm wrong but i dont think marriages that far back recorded fathers names, sometimes for the bride but not the groom. I'll be posting a new thread in about a week or two for my next trip to the records office so watch out for that. Happy New Year Mhairi
