It would seem that she wrote much earlier than you say -there is a case of the "Modern Cookery Illustrated" book being published 1917 by Odhams Press
If you still feel that she could be yours your best bet is to write to them for details

LydiaChatterton born @ 1886 in Lincolnshire. daughter of William Chatterton and Margaret Pettit. How do I find out if she is the Lydia who wrote cookery books. I have tried Wikipedia and googled the name with no success. Where do I look next, Is there a list of Authors ?She wrote many books during the war.The first I can find is 1930 ( which I have) but nothing about her.
