Ginns - You DID kill those slugs then !!! :-( :-( :-(
Anyway - a few answers for you.
For ants:
Johnsons baby talc - they get it all over then and then can't breath and die !!! - job done !!
Bicarbonate of soda - the eat it and then when it hits the moisture it fizzes up and they explode and die !! - job done again !! :-)
Dettol - they will not walk over it and so it is a safe (if not VERY smelly) way to deal with them in your kitchen cupboards !
Chalk - For some reason they will not walk over a line of chalk, so put it all around the bottom of the outside walls and this shoud prevent them from coming in !!
Am I 'humane' or not !!! ??? Ginns ??
Anyway, If any of the little bu''"ery critters DO get in, then, I will 'humanely' stomp on them and squish them flat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dea....you cant kill them :-0
The slugs dont have to eat the pellets, so they opt for their own fate ;-)
I dont have ants, but spiders come in from time to time.....JB......throw him outside, but DONT kill him

SO then Ginns - If you prepared a few 'tasty titbits' for JB and sprinkled just a couple with arsenic and he happened to choose one of thos - does that mean that you would not be guilty of 'killing' him ??
One for Poirot or Miss Marples methinks ???
OOhhh - did you say that JB has been 'struck down' by something nasty ???
Makes you think eh ??
Anyway - I rest my case - You DID kill those slugs !!!

Thanks for the tips Dea ;-)
Yep....I kill ants, slugs, woodlice, cockroaches if they invade my space, but not spiders for some reason. I think it's because they don't seem as 'unclean' as the other things.
My suite is not leather Gins, it's fabric and fabric gets grubby. I don't 'do' grubby so I'm going to get an upholstery cleaner in. Am waiting to see how my friend's carpets turn out before I book him though.
Anyone see the fantastic air display this morning - in honour of the Queen's jubilee? I didn't realise it was on but daughter video'd some of it on her phone. Amazing piloting skills.
Now, do I want crisps or chocolate?????

I buy a liquid ant killer ...................... it tastes of honey, and one little drop put on the path(s) they're taking attracts ans like you wouldn't believe.
They all drink it up, take it back to the nest .............. and feed the queen and larvae with it.
It has borax in it ..................... and it kills them all.
I first found it in Australia, when we had fire ants under the pavers in the area where J would play ................ it worked wonders.
I then found a similar thing over here, and always have a bottle in.
BTW .............. we're now being invaded by the European Fire Ant. Apparently they were introduced to eastern Canada from Europe around 1900, and have been found on this side in the last 2 or 3 years. The thinking is that they came over here in root balls of plants shipped from east to west by the garden centres.
I HATE those bl***y Fire Ants ................ their nips really hurt!
