OH was up and pattering around just after 6.30am.......he always gets up early when 'someone' is due to visit...........and the chair cleaning man isn't due until 9.15am..... :-S

Yes - I was certainly well looked after Cynthia - lots of hugs and lots of lovely food - just what I needed at the end of a long LONG week !!

Monday morning again and the start of another week - strange how a week can seem SO long when you are wading you way through it and yet Monday mornings seem to come around SO quickly !! :-S :-D :-D

Had my suite cleaned and it looks lovely. It looks all fresh again :-D


OH put himself in the bedroom to watch tv there and I did some ironing and then sorted out some family trees stuff. Once the men had gone, we sat on big bath towels cos the chairs were still a bit damp. :-D

The absences must be down to the devastating effect of England losing in a penalty shootout yet again.

We've all been out watching the olypic torch go by and then ended up back here with food.

Everyone has just gone as its a school night.

Finally finished the decorating :-D

Got new curtains and new curtain pole up :-D

Now all we have to do is clear up and then finish all the little jobs that have been ignored over the past year - like staining ALL the doors and touching up the paintwork :-(

first though I have to go and collect my other pair of specs :-D
