None of us are related to you.

The request was made by a visitor to the 2013 Who Do You Think You Are? (WDYTYA) exhibition in London, who went to the GR booth and submitted the request shown in the first post.

All the other posts are by members of GR who try to help others by searching sites and records elsewhere.

We are also not told who asked the question, so there is no way to recommend how you may contact her/him

This is a fuller reply than the one in response to the private message that you sent to me.

So, between 1871, when he may have been in Deptford, and 1881, they either married or they didn't :)

He is not with Elizabeth in 1901, living in Camberwell.

Karen in the desert Report 22 Feb 2013 15:29

Hi,
Don't take lack of response as a sign that we are not searching! Believe me, this one is testing!
Do you have any other information on Elizabeth or Walter? Did they always use those names?

The only PENNY & SMITH marriage record I can find is in 1917, Gravesend Kent, Walter Smith and Emily Penny, so is doubtful, and anyway she would have been aged 65 by then!!

Still looking :-)
