Looking for Thomas Sullivan (born around 1850/1851) in Guernsey, Channel Islands.
I've tried Guernsey and Jersey records, but found nothing.
I do know he married on 23rd August 1880 in Glasgow. His occupation was a seaman in the Merchant Service. His parents were Thomas James Sullivan, a master blacksmith, and Marie Le Count (on his marriage certificate) or Maria De L'Coutts (on his death certificate).

Can anybody help finding his birth record and anything to do with his parents? Thank you!

Less likely if Sheena is sure it is Guernsey.

Not seeing a seaman's card or crew list for anyone of that name with those birth details.

Team - when you are getting marriage details from clients will you also please get the wife's name?

Guernsey records, which can go as far back as the 1500's are NOT available on line.

I presume the questioner has contacted www.priaulxlibrary.co.uk.in St Peter Port. If they cannot trace Thomas birth then I suggest looking at the marriage and birth place of Thomas mother Marie.

Edit: This same question has been asked in several places over the last few years obviously with no success. If the Priaulx Library is not able to help then try

Just a general observation...would it not be better WDYTYA Team to have deleted all 2013 requests?

Do you have access to Genes records? If so you should find it on there by typing in one of the names listed

The census Reggie listed is from Find my Past which should be the same as GR
