My apologies, yes birth date is 10 years out.
I cannot find her in the 1911 census. Married in 1910, obviously moved from parents house. Found Robert Crook death 1951 but lost Jane. Yes there are several Jane's listed, but none seem to match.
I have now received a copy of their marriage certificate and Roberts death certificate. They both lived in Skirving street and Robert died there. Try Googling Sjirving Street. 1880 two sisters - serial killers. Nice area to live !

Address when he enlisted 1915 was 18a Skirving Street and he was a box maker. Record states he married Mary Jane Ingram 28 November 1910 and had a son Robert Henry born 13 December 1916 (neither record verified by army). He was a Catholic born in Bootle.

Why can't I find dads birth in 1916 ? Clues in the word "register"

I think we may all need to go to spec savers. There are actually 2 births listed on his army records,I think-one for Robert and one for Henry. I really can't be sure of the dates.

I have recently renewed my subscription after a 5 year break !!
I have looked on the net and there are multiple sites offering info at a price. GR offers addon's. from your info I do not beleive they offer the best package. Sorry GR. I have read posts in the forum about problems. I have had a few myself.
