MrsBucketBouquet Report 16 Apr 2008 19:56

If you want to buy a BMD cert, here
is the addy where you can buy it online..

(tip)Never pay more than £7
(another tip) for a marriage, you only need
put one partners name when ordering.

If you are ordering online from the GRO,
make sure that when the form asks
"Is the full GRO reference known?"
that you tick the "yes" box or you could find yourself paying more!

not wanting to sound too dumb but im new to this what is bmd?
and yes she was also formerly boddy i hadnt made the connection with the bits ive got

Margee Report 16 Apr 2008 21:32

Free BMD is here:

It's where you go to find volume and page numbers so that you can then order the certificates from GRO.
You pay only 7 pounds when you have the volume and page number.

doddsy1 Report 16 Apr 2008 21:35

Sorry to interrupt this thread but can I ask Margaret Manson where she obtained such detailed information of the death of Frederick Boddy ie: he died in hospital - home address etc:
It sounds like a very useful site

Margee Report 16 Apr 2008 22:23

I googled "Frederick Boddy" Darlington.

Quinsgran Report 16 Apr 2008 22:42
