Hi Rache,
If you have any credits left, would you be kind enough to look up any Phelans on the electoral rolls after 1901 in Birmingham. My mothers family somehow came to call themselves Falen, but Phelan was the original name, and I believe that other branches of the family still went under the original name of Phelan or Phelen.
I really would be extremely grateful.

I have been trying to trace a Charles Steel b approx 1882 in Birmingham. I know by 1903 he was married to a Rose Simmons.

Rose's father was called George Simmons and as of yet the only information I can find about him was him being born in London.

Are you able to find them?
