BG
Just a thought my GGM had my GF in 1915 at the age of 17, his dad died in WW1, she married in 1918, lived happily ever after for 63 yrs until his death in 1981 and hers in 1986.

If you've money left over get the Pears marriage in 1935 too, it should give Doris' marital status?????? divoured / spinster / widow

Cass

ps I love spending other people's money too!

You want:

the 1935 Alma Critcher birth cert.

the marriage cert:

Marriages Dec 1927
BOWMAN Doris A Critcher Darlington 10a 16

and, just because I'm terminally curious and I have no problem spending other people's money:

Births Sep 1908
Critcher Alma May Sevenoaks 2a 842

No, wait, you don't really need that, because you have the 1911 census with the parent info.

So just the 1935 birth cert and the 1927 marriage cert. For now. ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong, anybody!
