I dont see them in 1841,so maybe they were still in Ireland then.

http://ifhf.brsgenealogy.com
One Irish site to search, but I dont see anything for Agnes collins 1834ish in county cork.
And it is pay per view and a tad expensive at 5 euro a time ,so tread carefully.

This site is free ,but a bit hit and miss, mind you Irish records are very hard to find, well the ones you want will be I would think, murphys law and all that!

Hiya Vivienne, sorry i was not about when you kindly gave me more info:(than my man- brain can handle) on the White/collins connections.would it make it any easier if i allowed you access to my humble tree, then you can see for yourself why i get in a pickle trying to sort out who,s who.I REALLY appreciate all the kind work and time you have put into this, guiding a mere novice through the in,s and out,s of this ancestry business. As i have already said computers are not my forte.Once again a BIG THANKYOU......the pest.

FannyByGaslight Report 18 Jun 2009 22:54

Trees on this site I can NOT understand, too many twigs on them.
I get lost after the first sapling, even on my own that has no branches and is just a trunk with sticky out bits.
All my best work is on paper,in a file,in my desk draw.

I hope you have been able to sort out the Collins and White lot.

The only way of having a chance to find Agnes White/collins anywhere prior to marriage FOR SURE is to get the marriage cert for her fathers name, then if your luck of the irish holds we may throw something up.

Expensive hobby this,so I hope you have long arms and short pockets.

You do not need to go to kew for marriage birth, certs etc,in fact you wont get them from there.
You will find lots of other things there though, like Chelsea pensioners records I believe.
You have to get them from the GRO {online}at £7 a time, never pay more.
Heres the website

www.gro.gov.uk

OR the reg office of their origin, which normally takes longer than the GRO online ones.

I will now go look at your maternal side.

My grandparents were born near there, and me mum.

HOUSEHOLD WATSON GEORGE M 1890 21 Wandsworth London
HOUSEHOLD WATSON GEORGE M 1890 21 Wandsworth London

Looks like you need to buy his marriage cert for his dads name ,unless he uses the second name of frederick as well on 1901.

It will be with you within week probably.

Hurry now, Im a woman ,and you know how much they can nag!

Going to water my plants ,back in half an hour to play with legassicks if you like.
