Hi I am looking for any info on George Mallin b. 1824 Banbridge Co Down and Catherine Mallin b1832 Hilltown Wexford Ireland. They had 8 children born in Banbridge and then in 1867 and 1870 two children born in Barnsley Yorkshire England so presume they came in 1866 (last child born ireland 1865!). I cannot find any census info prior to 1871 at an address in Barnsley. Any info would be much appreciated. Sometimes surname is spelt Malin.

Thanks

Sarah

Hi Lorraine,

Thanks very much for the information on my Coyne family. I'm not sure if they are mine just yet, but will digest and investigate the info you have given me, which is interesting.

Thanks again, it's much appreciated.

Hi Lorraine

Thanks for the offer.
Any info on Robert Bennett b 1827 in Tandragee, Co. Armagh and wife Elizabeth redpath b 1829 in Earlston, Berkwickshire. Scotland ; William Bennett b 1821 (from same as Robert )and wife Jane Johnston c 1824 Co Armagh.

I have as Robert and William's parents William Bennett and Ann Rennie both c 1793 in Co Armagh and other siblings as George Bennett 1818 (marr Ann Gould) and Jonathon Bennett c 1814 (marr Mary Jane Maeguire).

The Bennett boys seem to have all emigrated to (Melbourne) Australia except Robert who died in 1849 in Tandragee. Elizabeth then married George Guinea before coming out to Australia (Melbourne)

Appreciate anything you can find

Regards
Beverley
