You will be stuck by the rules on what data you can see.

Scotland has rulings like Aus, and you cannot view births online past 1912. It'll be a case of ordering certs sadly.

The more info you know the better, otherwise you'll be looking for a needle in an expensive haystack :-(

there are two parishes on Arran - Kilmory and Kilbride. Lamlash is in Kilbride

On the Scotlandspeople website:

Arran comes under the County of Bute.

Followed by districts: ie. Isle of Arran ... Brodick .... Lochranza .... Shishkin .... Lamlash etc.

You'll need Scotlands People for this search as Scotish BMD's are not on Ancestry

I think its north ayrshire
