I checked the AER for Agnes Reid Johnson..

Found her at Braeside, Yearling in 1931 to 1937
then at 119 Colin St., West Perth from 1943 to 1954

At no time was Benjamin listed with her !!

In 1943 & 1949, there was an Agnes Jean at the same address... possibly her daughter.

Could this be Benjamin's marriage??
