This is the nearest i can find ref a relative of mine. There is a spelling difference from this record to what is written on one her childs birth cert, this is written as GUINEA.
She married John Rumsey i believe in Somerset???

Got this from Freebmd.

I was trying find any possiblities for her. Because her first two sons George Washington and John Henry on 1871 census say they are USA British Subjects.
Her place of birth states she is from Oxfordshire.
George and John were baptised 5 Aug 1853 in Great Canford.

I cant locate their birthplace aswell as Mary Ann Elizabeth.

If she's a relative of yours you should be working backwards from what you know for certain. Is she a direct ancestor? If so you should know her childrens' names but you don't even know her husband's name.

The marriage I posted is about the time to match the birth you posted, also her father is Samuel

I have all her childrens names and a birth cert for one of them, this is how i know her maiden name.

Her husband was John Rumsey born 1820c in Steepley Leese, Dorset.

Is George Washington their eldest?

As Mary Ann consistantly lists her birthplace as Oxfordshire in the census it would seem unlikley that she was born in London. She may have even married in the States

Yes George Washington was the eldest, but i havent been able to find him or John H in the states at all. I did wonder if Mary was from the states orginally but again i cant find anything.
