Hi my great grandmother was called Katherine Elliott maiden Boxall she had a lot of siblings her father was called Charles, her daughter my nanna also mentioned he as a pier master and talked about a Uncle Harry and a parrot, other family members have mentioned more of the names you have listed, please get in touch hope we can piece togeather.

Not sure about Catherine being Thomas' 2nd wife.

Matilda was given the middle name of Rippeth (Catherine's surname) 3 years before Catherine married Thomas Harrison.

I would think Catherine was her mother.

Thanks for this info, I acquired the info on my tree from a cousin of my husbands. From what he can remember is something about there being a gypsy in his family but not sure who this is or how to go about finding out. He has asked his parents for info but they are not coming forward with anything. We think they could be hiding something!!!!!!!
