Thank you Pat and Brummiejan, the 1861 came up trumps for me too, on the GR single line and gave William as Portsmouth but I got Keziah for the wifes spelling even if she had got 2 years younger! Portsea and Portsmouth are towards synonymous so you have found me Williams family. I am having a good day..... |

Thank you Pat - I found John christened at St Thomas Portsmouth in 1805! Surely they would not have coffed up for 2 christenings? |
