in the same 1911 census there are two brothers living with this family are edward fox and david fox . would be my ancestors .

Norah who is married to thomas sullivan gives her home address as mallow cork same as ed waard and david also mallow cork irealnd their father is james fox , have these birth certs

found norah marriage cert to Thomas sullivan in 1901 her maiden name is o riordan and her father is james riordan ..


david and edward are down as BIL to head of family , as i am aware he had one only one sister Mary who i can find in or after 1900 .

I am searching for Mary sullivan daughter born to parents Michael irish born and Mary Ann sullivan about 1887 and her brother thomas 1878 c

I have located them on the 1881 , 1891 census .in the parish of Bermondsey with mother mary ann sullivan missing from the 1891 census possible died , .

On the 1911 census for bermonsedy thomas sullivan is living with norah his wife and his father michael sullivan....

with no clue as to what happened to Mary daughter of michael and mary ann sullivan

still no marriage record to be found either for norah and thomas sullivan

recived the birth cert for Norah lucy sullivan states mothers maiden name is riordan and not fox ,

i am stumped completely

would david and edward be BIL to thomas sullivan sister if he has one , yet to be found ,

Well marriage cert came to day for Norah Riordan and it NO Match :( it states her father is james Riordan and not john fox


what to do next ?

i found out that norah fox married cornelius riordan mallow co cork 1894 .

But by 1901 norah riordan is living in england in the 1901 census in middlesex Acton , aged 25 but single is down


she then marries thomas sullivan as norah o riordan in 1901 in southwark london in April qrt.

will need marriage cert ......
