If you obtain the 1859 marriage cert, you'll learn what the father's occupation was........might help with determining which is the correct family

I am still unable to prove for sure who was William 1838 parents other than his father was also William (from the marriage details kindly provided above).
I now know he was baptiied at St Leonards, Shoreditch age one .Any further info. would be greatly appreciated.

Mel- The 1871 and 1891 are correct as Arthur was my Ggrandfather. I don't know how Chingford fits in (don't seem to be any other options), In 1861 they were living in Sydenham as their first child Annie was born there cSept 1860 , but I have got the birth cert. for William Henry Pearson 20/11/1862 which seems to fit as living at Hoxton Old Town and mother show as Maria Pearson formely Castleman.

What I am really interested in at the moment is finding the parents of William Pearson born St Lukes 1838 (living in Brixton Lambeth 1911)-father is also William-mother?

I am trying to find the parents of my GGgrandfather William Pearson born St Lukes (Islington/Shoreditch?) but do not know any exact dates. I understand he was baptised at St Leonards Shoreditch when aged one and married a Maria Castleman.
I have been told of two options:
1841 Census-Wiliam Pearson married to Isabella both age 30, with William age 3 St Georges the Martyr , Southwark.
or
William Pearson baptised St Sepulchre London (this William parents i.e. William 1838 grandparents were William and Mary.
One may be right or both wrong-would appreciate it if anyone could help.
