Find Ancestors

Hi there,

Just found this chap on the 1911 and wonder if he is a relation of mine. I love his commentary - does the origional image show anything else? This man seems to have died in 1913 aged 92.

I am related to the Heathcock family of Dudley and can someone look back for this chap in the census, so I can see if I can piece him into my family tree?

I have a distant uncle born 1818 in Dudley, Worcester - age not quite right to be him, but maybe this is a cousin?!

Ah Jan, the 1841 is my family - but the 1861 is not. Hmmm, not so sure. I have 'my' uncle up until 1871, but then he possibly died in 1885 in Dudley.

So maybe not a relation!

But still, fabulous entry!

When you say the 1841 is your family, are you saying you know you have that Joseph as a relative?
How do you know the 1861 isn't him? I find that an odd thing to assert! How do you know one way or the other?

Oh no Jan, I am not saying that with great certainty and only upon past research I carried out that suggests my uncle died in 1885. But yes, not confirmed, so I should not sound so definite about such a thing.
