PM RECEIVED...

The information you have supplied is quite correct and confirms that Joan was indeed my aunt. I had no idea she had moved tp Wales and i was a liittle sad to learn that she has died. Still 80 is not too bad an age. I did think that the old memory cell was giving out at last but it's nice to know that it still works (a bit).
Obviously I have no idea if you are connected in anyway with the family, but if you are I may well be searching for two more aunts, Elizabeth G, and Amy Carr, both sisters of Joan.
Once again, many thanks for your efforts.

The only Amy Carr Davison on freebmd is this one.
Are you sure she was Joan's sister ? ( old enough to be her mother)

Have you checked and discounted the various marriages for her name which are on freebmd?

Is the spelling of her second name confirmed by documents in your possession?

Reggie

Reggie Report 19 Nov 2012 09:00

First, find her birth registration on freebmd

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

Which of your parents is/was her sibling?

Davison is very much a north-eastern name

Hello out there.
Please, please can anybody help!!
I am trying to locate my aunt (above) who lived in the Willesden/Wembley are of North London. Davison was her maiden name, but I cannot find any married name. She had 3 sons and possibly a daughter. Joan was born around 1923 in Willesden London N. W. 10. She had a brother and 3 sisters all older. It is possible that she moved to Wales, but not certain. If anybody has any ideas, info, or can help in any way I would be very grateful.
Here's hoping.
Ian
