I would like to find out more about William and his ancestors. He married Nellie Euesden in 1915 at Islington and I believe his parents were Charles J Astell and Emily Smedley. I have his marriage certificate which states that Charles was his father and Charles W was his witness .I guess that Charles W was his brother. The family moved from Sheffield to London. William went to war in 1915 and apparently returned to the UK in March 1919.
Many thanks,
Pat
