Margaret Bowman is not an unusual name in Scotland - there are 5 births in 1934, but only 1 plain Margaret no second name. No guarantee it's your Margaret, no further details, not even month or quarter to see apart from as below.There is no image to view due to timeline but the certificate is available to order.

on a lighter note i have found another child for margaret & her hubby john wilson the mmn was badly mispelt so have a little smile on my face today

afternoon everyone
well have got details of kathleen bowmans obit from the old news paper at the libaary they are as follows

catherine bowman

aged 49 died on the 2nd nov 1962 she was the wife of gerge bowman & the daughter of mr & mrs souter & loviung sister of lizzie bridget & molly & james & ellen & loving sister in law of linda & maysie

thats all that it says apart from fural details

just going to pick up the grandson & then i.ll check back in

Souter is definitely a Scottish name - lots on the 1901 census, mainly from the North East areas (Aberdeen, Angus, Moray).

I wonder why Margaret and her siblings aren't mentioned in her mother's obit?

Can't find a marriage for Catherine/Kathleen Souter and George Bowman on scotlandspeople.

evening everyone
just put the scrummy granson too bed so am back to the grind

i was also confused about the kathleen /catherine but ii feel its the right person as it gave the same address that was on margarets marriage cert as was mentioned in the obituary in the paper
i think i should have looked to see if there was anymore obits in the days following the obituary i found in the paper i have too go into leeds again in the morning so i will pop in & have another look see what turns up but have sent for margarets death cert today but said it won,t be sent till after the new year (boo hoo ) lol

but once again would like too thank you all for all your time & help & infomation
