Mark - I don't think it's possible to say, from the info in the GRO index, whether the entry refers to the same child or to another child. And there are several of reasons why of b.cert might need amending. |

Mark, people sometimes recycle names. If they have a child which dies they may reuse the name for the next child, in their memory. |

A cousin of mine who is alive and well is listed as you would expect on the GRO Index. I have just looked this person up to check details and noticed that there is another child same details, mmn b. 1983, but i cannot find a death. Surely you would not name 2 childrent the exact same name,,, |
