The Bride/groom were asked for names & occupations of their fathers. They weren´t asked whether they were dead or alive, so the info wasn´t included unless it was mentioned. |

Ethel again. I have now found the 1841 and 1851 listing for the family as above, but there is a snag. 1851. Ann/Nancy is shown as a Widow, yet when James married 1868 his Father was shown as a weaver, and does not mention deceased. ???? |

James Boothroyd. born c 1838 Huddersfield area (Lepton) Father. John who was a weaver. Got one certificate that showed Father as a Blacksmith so that is out. |
