I am looking for a baptism record for Edward Phelps, son of Thomas Harper Phelps and Keturah Phelps. He was born CA 1815 in either Worcestershire (most likely the City of Worcester) or Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. He is listed as 25 years old in the 1841 census, but I have been told ages in the census can be +- 5 years from true age.

He may be listed by the name of Edward Smithsend Phelps

Also looking for the Baptism record of James Harper Phelps b. CA 1824 in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, son of Thomas Harper Phelps and Keturah Phelps.

thank you

Mark Phelps

Maybe Edward was born before his mother married Thomas in which case he would have her surname.

There is a 5 year gap between Edward's birth and the next child ( James 1821)

So it's possible he was born Johnson
