thank you both just thought it would be around 1840 as their eldest son was born in 1840 ellen was 20 on 1841 cencus so would have been 16 in 1837 don,t think it would be in sussex as its quite away from west bromwich or dudley and they were in tipton all their lives although anything is possible |

yes in 1851 she was 32 in 61 44 so if either of those is correct the marriage in dudley could be right probly st thomas as that seemed to be the church everyone got married at |
