Isn't there such a thing as a Register of Teachers' somewhere???

Perhaps someone knows where it might be?

It should give her first name and the different places where she was teaching and at what time?

No I have not contact everyone on FR who was at Ladbroke Grove after 1958. Only those people who are on the site for the year of the changeover. Some do not remember her others have not replied.

You are not wrong about the difficulty in this thread, but we are trying.

So where are you and I going with this conversation?

Your suggestions and comments are appreciated and understood. Are you saying I am wasting my time?

You are right - tracing this lady without much information is going to be difficult. It was just a thought that someone might visit this site and pick up on the thread - someone with knowledge of the schools - St. Quentin and Ladbroke School.

I am picking she would have been in her mid thirties at the time and unlikely to have married. I will have a think and see if I can remember her first name. I suppose a London telephone directory may be the first place to look as she did live in Kensington.

I will have a think and see if I can remember anything else.

No I do not mean there is no-one on Friends reunited who attended either school at the relevant time. It means I have not had any luck with that site.

Without a first name, and birth year/birthplace info, your chances of tracing her otherwise must be small.................

Does anyone know what happened to this teacher. When St. Quentin Park School closed in 1958 , it was divided into two schools - Holland Park Comprehensive School and Ladbroke Grove School. Miss Gregory went to teach at Ladbroke Grove School.

Miss Gregory was a much loved teacher at St. Quentin.

Have tried the friends reunited site - without luck.

Any help would be appreciated.
