	A tree on Ancestry has Louisa Lock born 1877, Stoke Ash, daughter of Elizabeth Lock. 1856, Stoke Ash, who was the daughter of Joseph Henry Lock, (1802-1890) and Jemima Lummis (1820-1889)

	I don't know about that .It does not add up with the my researhch. I would like to know their sources. I am always willing to be proved wrong I do have the Parish Records of Stoke Ash Jemiima had been married before to William Abbott

	The only thing that bothers me is if she had been born in 1877 it does not tye up with the 1881 Census . It would have made her a lot older than Herbert

	My fault not expressing myself well My main point was although the Census said they were born in Stoke Ash they do not appear in the Stoke Ash Parish Records Will take on board all posts

	Not everyone was baptised. No rule says you have to be christened in the place you were born either.

	Mike You are right In the Stoke Ash Parish Records Louisa was Baptised 12 /8 /1877 Illigitimate daughter of Elizabeth Lock. Age in the Census was wrong One down one to go

	Age in the census would be correct. She hadn't had her 4th birthday before the census was taken on 3rd April 1881
