patchem i am also wondering whether Philip was adopted for a second time as well, according to papers we got he was officially adopted through lambeth in 1962, but again can't find him anywhere. I wouldn't know if Daisy had been adopted or not, I know Henry had been in trouble with the law but again nothing turned up, I do have an address in 1966 that was in Lambeth again, philip is the one we are trying to find info about he could still be alive and could have some info about my other half's early years ?

There is this birth, but very speculative:
Births Dec 1917
Fuller Daisy M Fuller Tonbridge 2a 1169

There are several births in Tonbridge for Lidlows (it is an unusual name).

Just wondered if Daisy was unofficially adopted?

Brummiejan

The connection is with my partner as she was with this family before they put her into care, after her birth mother vanished. The details were in her adoption papers, at one stage the prices were going to adopt her but couldn't for health reasons, philip was older but had been adopted in few years earlier.

Where did you get the information from do you have a link ?

?
DAISY MAY PRICE "Dolly" Passed away on 28th June aged 94 years. Dearly missed by Tony and Melloney, Ryan and Josh. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday 17th July 2012 at Tunbridge...
(Probably just co-incidence, but age is close)

Added:
Marriage is Tonbridge, so probably her.

Paul, can you say what sort of information you are after exactly, and what your connection is please?
A tip - you need to remove Philip's exact birth date from your post as it reveals too much, and your thread might get reported and deleted if you don't.
ADDED - I see what you mean re. Daisy - I too can only see a marriage for her. Are you sure this is her maiden name? There is always the option to get the marriage cert, if that is the sort of info you are after? It would give there ages etc. at least.

i am trying to find information regarding a Philip Ian Price born , he was adopted by George Henry Price & Daisy May Price, formally Lidlow. I know around 1966 George was aged approx 51 & Daisy was aged 47, but I cannot find any records for them , only the marriage listing. It's like these 3 people never existed except for the paperwork I have.

Any help please would be very much appreciated so I can continue further the search
