How have you got to Catherine - have you found her on the 1871 census to be able to give a name, place and year that she was there.

And if you have found her in the census, it should give her age therefore approx year of birth and her place of birth

Please post ALL the information you have about her to help us help you.

There are about 150 Catherine Hughes in Denbighshire on the 1871 census, though granted some can be eliminated as too young and many may not be in the right Reg District. Do you mean Denbigh itself - the town is in the St Asaph RD?

Delyth, suggest you delete this thread as there is nothing on it that isn't on your other thread.
Go to your first , or opening post (OP) on this thread and above your text there is a line in a bluey green colour that has Edit, Mark as answered, Delete etc written in it. Click on delete and this thread should be deleted.
You can then keep on using your other thread, but mark it as UNanswered if you want further help
