I would be grateful for any information on a Frank Mountcastle b 1903 Lincolnshire second marriage to Florence K Stubbs b1900. I am married to Frank's first wife's (Elizabeth Prentice)child Cynthia Joan Mouncastle b 1934.
Would dearly wish to find a photograph of Frank to show to Cynthia.

Just checking they were both born Frank and not Francis.

I suspect it's the 2nd one but need to be sure.
As you say Dea, father's name from marriage cert is vital

According to a tree on ancestry, he was born 1903 8 Jun
Corringham Gainsborough Lincolnshire and died in 1969.
Parents were George Mountcastle 1870 – and Fanny Maxted 1871 –

Thank you the problem is there are no photographs of Frank during his first marriage to Elizabeth McInnes Prentice. I was hoping there would be something from his second marriage to Florence Kate Stubbs

Brilliant spot on I have Franks birth cert 8/6/1903 The Cliff Spridlington R.D. to Georege Mountcvastle and Fanny Mountcastle formerly Maxted. George was a farm Labourer. Frank Married Elizabeth Livingstone McInnes Prentice on the 14 July 1934 a guardsman 3rd Battalion Coldstream Guards.They had my wife Cynthia Joan Ross nee Mountcastle 29 November 1934. Frank then divorced Elizabeth and went on to marry a Florence Kate Stubbs on the 24 December 1942. Frank then died 2nd March 1969 aged 65.
Can I please ask how you came to have the photograph of Frank at an early age.

Shop assistant Spridlington father William Gifford Stubbs (deceased) Master Wheelright.
F.K Mountcastle lived in Empingham Oakham
on death cert of her husband Frank 1969

I am beginning to get a little confused on where I am putting things excuse an old grey hair twit.

That's why you should of kept everything on one thread as to not to confuse and also to save others duplicating what you have already been given

Apart from searching the trees for any family contacts there is not much else you can do apart from finding marriages and any decendants of the siblings to see if they have any photos....which could be doubtful

I am back still trying to find anyone with information on a Florence Kate Stubbs b 1904 married to a Frank Mountcastle b 1904 on 24th December 1942. Both of them have since died but I am looking for any living relative on the Stubbs side.
