I worry about myself too, gosh I was so excited about being able to find out what happened to William Bisset that I may have missed out on my Thanks!! on the very person who did a lot of work and used sp credits but honestly it wasn't intended..My apologies Maureen, you have been a star <3 My apologies for the delayed reaction...What can I say :-( I'm not sure I can grovel any further down :-\

I suspect there were no children with William and Janet McQueen since she was much older?

Yes! I looked at the deaths for James and Bethia with the mothers surname of Wylie, but it didn't come up with that name, just came up without it, so I'm guessing this isn't our William and Janet Wylie's children, perhaps Janet was too old for children if she is already 50 in 1871.

Have you looked for marriages or deaths for William's siblings to check out the name given for the mother please?
