I would like to know what happened to Rose TRICE listed below aged 11 and who were the parents of Colin Scarley aged 3, grandson born in Portsmouth?
Looking for maybe half brothers and sisters.

I think young Colin's name is registered twice...once as SEARLEY and once as SHEARLEY.

I think my 1901 must be wrong as the two Roses can't be in two different places at the same time. But I'll leave it on for reference..were there two people called Rose Trice both born York in 1890 and both with a mother called Rose born about the same place?

Also my 1901 has a Alice R L Trice.

I think this is the baptism of Colin Searleys mother and that Alice Rose Louise Whittick and Alice R l Trice (1989) census are the same person.
