Welcome to the boards, Andrew.

Is there any possibility that he returned to England?

Have you looked to see if he is in anyone's tree on here, and then tried to make contact with them? (Similarly for Elizabeth Bohringer)
Also, have you got the marriage certificate for information about both of them - which side of the family are you connected to?

Thank-you

Not sure if it is the same man in my two records...the WW1 is definitely him - father Charles and subsequent marriage to Elizabeth (and two children at that time)

Occupation draper....

The emigration - occupation manservant

However 1911 census occupation printer's labourer

The tree on ancestry appears to be Andrew's tree, but the birth is not Stuttgart but Holborn on it. And 2 trees claim a 1903 marriage....

HeyJudeB4Beatles Report 18 Jan 2014 10:18

The address on the emigration is 125 Gladsmore Road Totternham. Can't see any details of employer other than he was going to Hastings on Hudson NY State

Andrew Report 18 Jan 2014 11:17

Marriage to Edward was 1908 And the first son born 1910 also Edward. Found that he was a rigger in the Air Force in WW1 . Where did you find Fred Hardie.

Flip

Flip Report 18 Jan 2014 11:30

Frederick Russell Hardie & wife were on the 1920 census at the address given on Edward's immigration record. However, they don't provide any leads to him as they came back to England in 1925 (backwards/forwards a few times) and both died in England. Fred was a merchant/salesman/insurance agent.
