I think the other children must have stayed in UK...

Thanks Sylvia...no luck finding marriages for any of them in NSW, and Vic and Qld records close in the 1930-1940s :-(

I can't see any of them on The immigrant and Naturalization Records at the National Archives

Can't thank you all enouth for your help............due to my friend having very little knowledge of her gr aunt this quest has been like a "brick wall"............but all of what you have found makes sense........... the most confusing thing is the name "Marion", ........Bernard Tasker, I found out yester is on GR, so have left a message for him and two other poeple that look like they have this Alice Clark on their trees. My friend is hoping to find relatives in Aussie before she goes there in October. I will follow all your information up.

Louisa legg born 1860 Netherbury Dorset married Charles Clark 2/11/1879.
Her dad Job Legg his dad George Clark.

George Clarke 1832 married Emma Meacham according to trees on ancestry,please check.

So looks like the Emma Clark off 1911 census above.
