when you use the family search site - just put in

Alfred Amos Johnson

birth - 1885 - 1887

no need for any other info - that's all you need - then at the bottom of the page you will find the whole tree as I have printed off for you

e.g.

Search Results from User Submitted Genealogies

Alfred Amos JOHNSON
Albert Amos JOHNSON Beda Elfreda LARSSON

A word of caution -

When looking at 'User Submitted Genealogies' always try to find the original sources.
With the best will in the world, we ALL make mistakes at some point in our research.

The trees on FS used to have a terrible reputation for errors.

brigid Report 20 Nov 2014 09:09

I haven't had time to look up these links myself as been taken up with work + with a consumer research project ..
I did notice one strange thing ; Ann's 1st post had little Albert N Johnson as christened in Easingwold on 10/01/1886
later Albert Napoleon Johnson's birth is listed as 10/01/1885
this would only be a month after his parents marriage 16th dec1884(bede Elfrida Larrson + Albert Amos Johnson

is it a typo ? He could have been christened in GB a year after his birth , but his brother Alfred Amos was definitely born in Gothenburg the same year 1886

AnnCardiff.
Swedes in Yorkshire?

Maybe due to the mining industry? There used to be many mines in Sweden.

And over the years there have been a number of sea routes between Scandinavia (Esbjerg, Gothenburg & Oslo) and the UK east coast. Of those routes I think the only one left is Immingham-Gothenburg.
